i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

my wife was in another part of the house but heard my phone ring and so she came to listen, i did not realize this, because when the phone rang i closed two doors between myself and my wife.

she opened the first door and started listening to the conversation.

I do my utmost to keep the peace. Any kind of argument comes from my wife, and I really mean that. I have never been an argumentative person. What happened today was most definitely not my fault, I took reasonable measure to prevent her from listening to my private conversation, so to any reasonable person it was obviously private.

With this incident, my daughter was in the next room, the first she noticed was when my wife flung open the door and started screaming at me.

She is 15, she can reason, this is only going to turn her away from the cult, which is positive. Unfortunately the whole atmosphere is toxic, and I thank the bOrg for that. This will most definitely lead to divorce, I have expressed my unconditional love to my daughter.

I appreciate your concern.

I keep quite about what I know, because she only starts her screaming if I even mention for example Child Sex Abuse within the bOrg, which is well documented.

As for my daughter, I have made it clear to my wife that, if she does not want to go to any of the meetings or to study or prepare then she does not have to, I was very adamant about that.

The sex stopped when I stated that I did not want anything to do with the bOrg, she then moved out of the bedroom into the spare room, some six months now.

I am a fader, over 6 months now. If anything comes of this, it is my wife who instigated it, but as I have already mentioned in another comment I am already seeking legal advice, and would really love to have sufficient reason to bring criminal charges against the elders of the congregation, naturally leaving out the bOrg at the centre in Selters Germany, as the elders would then see how they are abandoned by the mother.

Although my wife is also a victim, as we all are or were, I cannot excuse her behavior. The one question that she should ask herself is why have I rejected the religion after almost 30 years. She will not do that, Cognitive Dissonance" at its best.

As for information available, in Germany or should I say the German language there is significantly less information than there is in English, but the information is there if one makes a search. Its great to be associated with you magnum, and I love reading your comments on other posts.

Thanks for your experience. I hope very much for you that your wife wakes up. I hope my wife does too. I cannot have any kind of conversation with her. She has not spoken reasonably with me now for over six months, I know she is being coached by the elders. I have already contacted a lawyer, and because the elders are meddling in our marital affairs there are three laws on which I can make criminal charges against them. Also a fourth law that of "Sedition" can most definitely be considered because it is religiously motivated.

I totally agree with what you say.

I have read Steve Hassans' book and it helped me tremendously. As for children, I have one child she is 15 years old. I have worked out a strategy with my counselor how to manage her not getting overly involved with this cult. The most important advice I was given was to not draw her into a "loyalty conflict". So she goes along with her mother to the meetings etc. She is not baptized nor is she a publisher.

One sad thing for me is that I am over 50 now, and when I was a young man, before I got involved with this evil sect, I wanted to have a family with 3 or more children, I gave that dream up for the sect. It is too late for that now, I consider it to be unfair on a child to father children knowing that by the time they are 20 I will be over 70.

Even-though it comes directly from the GB, she still considers it to be lies. Like I said she is disillusion. She cannot be reasoned with.
